Personally, I prefer Mark putting his foot in his mouth from time to time to some bland, unpersonal Corporate Style, where every bit has been put through the PR strainer and you have to do tee leaves & punditry to (try to) get at the core of the matter.

Ubuntu is not my distro, for quite a while, and I don't agree with everything Mark does, but an incident like this and its resolution reminds me why I still hold him in high regard.
