GeeXboX 3.0 released
The GeeXboX media center distribution has announced its 3.0 release—almost exactly a year after the release of GeeXboX 2.0 (LWN review).

A shiny new GeeXboX release has arrived! GeeXboX 3.0 is a major upgrade that integrates XBMC 11 “Eden” and adds the long-requested PVR functionality. This means you can finally use GeeXboX to watch and record live TV too! In addition to our usual x86 ISOs, this release is also available for several embedded platforms, with working full HD video and graphics acceleration for most of them."

I used geexbox original for several years back in the day, but have since defected to mythtv. Looks like it's time to try this on my panda.

GeeXboX 3.0 released
Wahey - I've been waiting for someone to do an ARM build of XBMC-PVR for some time now. I even had a go myself, before realising that it was going to take me 'a while' to get it all going in the absence of a debian packaged version of the XMBC-PVR variant.
