books within its Bruce Perens' Open Source Series line of books. The new
books include:
* Implementing CIFS: The Common Internet File System (ISBN 0-13-047116-X) by
Samba-Team member Chris Hertel. Implementing CIFS is the first cross-platform
guide to the inner workings of CIFS, Microsoft(r)'s market-dominating
Internet/Intranet file sharing system. This book serves as a guide to

* "The Official Samba- 3 HOWTO and Reference Guide" (ISBN 0-13-145355-6),
co-edited by Samba-Team Co-Founder John Terpstra. This book will be the
definitive source on Samba-3 for all Samba administrators, with special
attention given to Windows administrators migrating to Samba. The book will
serve as a comprehensive compilation of critical questions and answers that
have been cultivated from Samba mailing lists, as well as new information
