Right now, you're trolling and if you want to elevate your trolling to actual criticism, then provide references and issues that you have had which I can attempt to address. You haven't said anything specific that I could even attempt to reply to and that is why you got the response that you got.

I said something specific in the past, in some detail, but you pooh-poohed me because I wasn't a GNOME user (because I jumped ship to KDE). This is a nicely circular argument: you'll only take criticism from people who aren't unhappy enough that they jumped ship.

Since, again, you didn't provide any reference, I'm not sure what you're talking about. I can only say that I would never take the position that you've ascribed to me.

Maybe nix was referring to this thread: http://lwn.net/Articles/433863/

Personally I find these threads seem completely petty. Jason, I think it's great that you offer advice when people get stuck for lack of knowing some useful feature. The rest of the comments defending or attacking GNOME 3 seem unproductive except for venting and amusement value --- who cares if your complaints about the platform fell on deaf ears? Code will win out. And who cares if the person complaining used 1000 logical fallacies? They are providing data about how the software is used by a real person, which is a precious thing, no matter how easy it is to attack it.

Yes, that was the thread.
