And if I care about having control over a working system, I won't run broken crap like that.
It's too bad no one wants GNU on mobile devices.

You can have GNU/BusyBox userland on Android devices (I certainly have). But what for? It's useless during normal phone use. I mostly use it over adb shell during debugging and hacking.

And Android runtime by itself is quite configurable and flexible.
