I am not sure where you get the "tiny, tiny minority." I did a quick poll of people around me (about a dozen) and everyone using Linux uses focus follow mouse. It is a huge deal to me.

I must admit I don't code, I would just have to switch to something which has FFM.

Note, I also don't use auto-raise.
