Is Pardus a sponsor of LWN? Why its security updates are posted here when there are more popular distributions which aren't mentioned? Could someone enlighten us?

No, Pardus isn't a sponsor. They just asked to have their advisories included and worked with us to make that happen.

Which "more popular" distributions are we missing?

Thanks for the answer. It was my mistake, LWN's list of distributions for security announcements is extensive enough. I guess I can't see other distributions much because they don't announce security updates as frequently as others.
