Kernel changes between versions

I am working on porting a Token Ring Network Interface Card from Linux Kernel Version 2.4.18 to version 2.4.21.The Linux Kernel version 2.4.21 does not seem to be compatible with the Token Ring Network Interface card that I have used with kernel version 2.4.18.Are there any changes in the kernel entry points or kernel interfaces between the two versions?
