CentOS grapples with its development process

CentOS in no way shape or form feels like an open project to outsiders. I find it hard to believe that they would even have a call out for contributers since they don't even like their users. God forbid someone ask something stupid like when can I expect CentOS 6. They will be tortured and shot. They certainly are never forthcoming with information.

If they want to run the project in private like a cooperation then what do they expect from their users. CentOS to me isn't a open project or even a community. It's the free section of RedHat for people that can't or don't want to pay for the subscription.

I almost never have this much animosity for anything but since RedHat 6 has been released I have been interested in centos progress and even thinking about going to the site and asking pisses me off. God knows they will never say something in advance so I avoid the site all together.
