Then you aren't paying attention. How about Unladen Swallow or IcedTea?
What's happening with Unladen Swallow these days? I know they were supposed to be targeting the CPython 3.x trunk at some point, but the Google Code project looks rather dormant.

I'm wondering the same thing (as does this poster: http://groups.google.com/group/unladen-swallow/browse_thr...). Doesn't seem like Google to forget about a project as important as this.
