Chumby Guts!--New Product from The Maker Shed Store
Chumby's Popular Wireless Device Now
Available to Makers in Kit Form On A Limited Basis

Sebastopol, CA--Chumby, the compact consumer Internet device that enables people to receive a
constant personalized broadcast of their favorite parts of the Web is now available in kit form
exclusively in The Maker Shed Store. Produced by Chumby Industries for Maker Shed, and coined
"Chumby Guts" by the store's staff, the kit includes everything a tech enthusiast needs to build
their own Chumby--either in the classic Chumby form or a form factor of their own design.

Commenting on the kit, Dan Woods, Associate Publisher of MAKE magazine and General Manager of the
Magazine's Maker Shed store said, "Our audience of makers, hackers and DIY enthusiasts love getting
their hands on a cool product like Chumby in kit form and then dreaming up new form factors and
ways to get it to talk with other devices. It's a very clever way for a manufacturer to open up
their product to the hacker/maker community to see what they do with it and gain future development
ideas." Chumby Guts is available on a limited basis and only in The Maker Shed while supplies
last.

Operated by the staff behind MAKE magazine and offering hundreds of hard-to-find kits, tools, books
and toys for students and makers of all ages, MakerShed.com has rapidly become the holiday "wish
book" destination for tech enthusiasts, basement engineers, backyard scientists, and the serious Do
It Yourselfers (DIYers) from around the world. Maker Shed proudly features a large selection of
Maker-Made kits and open source hardware creations conceived, developed, and produced by
independent makers.
