That could actually be the point. Getting "native" Linux applications to work in a plug and play way when you stick in a CD is more or less impossible as things are. However, getting Windows applications to plug and play under Linux via Wine actually seems more realistic (if the application works at all of course - persuading Windows application authors to test under Wine might be the best hope for that). The same might apply for Android applications.
