I have to agree with alextingle. At work we have started using Visual Studio 2005, and all of us in the IT department agree that it's really quite nasty. It's incredibly slow, prone to pausing for no reason at all and has on a few occasions forgotten all of the settings for projects. Don't get me wrong, it's got some nice features, but overall the experience is not a good one.
