Who is "Head Bubba"? Is he a kernel developer? I never heard of him.

Head Bubba is VP, IT Research and Development at Credit Suisse. He's
real, and listed on the 2006
Credit Suisse list of promotions to VP. The Linux Foundation has a
PDF
of the paper he presented.
He presented at the summits customer forum.

Takes a bit to get used to his "first impression". He's really quite good at getting down to "what matters". I like him.
