None of the picture show any power cord.... wireless power?

I would be cute to have one of these mounted on the wall, but ugly to
have a power cable running up to it....

The specs say: "Power: 5V~5.25V @ 3A"

I don't think batteries can supply 3 Amps.

Five NiMH D-cell batteries should be able to power it for about 3.5 hours.
