Michael Zalewski keeps network security interesting. I recommend reading his book Silence on the wire, which describes a lot more network attack scenarios.
Those attacks might appear to be rather esoteric, but if he continues to provide practical tools like this one, the vulnerabilities will get wider recognition, and hopefully get fixed.
