Ah - but 8.0 is RH's currently shipping release

As a general rule I can't disagree, but the problem is that 8.0 is Red Hat's CURRENTLY SHIPPING RELEASE as of late January 2003. To say that this release will go out of support from 2003/12/31 is pushing things a bit I would say. It certainly does not help me make my case that we should be converting our desktops from Windows to RH Professional, that's for sure.
