Commercial customers do like this, that's the whole point of Advanced Server and SuSE Enterprise server.

For end users, too, there might be better options than publishing a new version every 6 months. By keeping the most important user land applications up-to-date, distributors would strongly reduce the need to upgrade the whole distribution.
