QOTW: "Needless to say, I find dealing with this dilemma more frustration
than it's worth, and so will not be releasing my application on any platform
except the Mac." - Kevin Walzer on c.l.t over some minor usability issue on
unixoids

"Tile actually has *fewer* features than any of the other major Tk add-on
widget sets. That's sort of a design goal..." - Joe English

Tk9/NexTk Demo 3 Starkit ( by Geoge Peter Staplin )

I've been doing a lot of work on the Tk9-related code last week. I
finally have something to show for it.
The Starkit includes binaries for NetBSD x86, Linux x86, and Windows x86.
See some of the changes here, and download the Starkit for Tclkit 8.5a4:
    http://wiki.tcl.tk/Tk9
Tclkit 8.5a4 is available from the download matrix here:

TIPX: new, used and discarded Tips
TIP 257 by Donal K. Fellows : Object Orientation for Tcl
There is now a partially working version of the tip257 implementation fo
r
people to test out. It is at about the
point where you can create an object, give it some methods, and run the
methods.
However, constructors, destructors and inheritance do not yet work.

Everything Tcl-related you want is probably one or two clicks away in these
pages:

comp.lang.tcl is a crucial resource for Tcl practitioners.
An interesting perspective on its traffic appears at

The Tcl Developer Site is Tcl's "home base".

The Tcl Developer Xchange is a highly organized resource center
of documents and software with provisions for individuals to
maintain references to their own software:

It already aggregates quite a bit of Tcl intelligence.

Cameron Laird tracks several Tcl/Tk references of interest (but
needs to validate many of the links).

    "Yahoo! Groups" archives comp.lang.tcl.announce posts--even
    though clta itself is dormant.

Previous - (U)se the (R)esource, (L)uke! - messages are supposed to be
listed at *Dr. Dobbs*, but sysad at CMP has fallen behind. We're working
