LPI Offers Certification Exams at LinuxWorld Boston

(Toronto, Ontario, March 22, 2006) – The Linux Professional Institute
(LPI), (http://www.lpi.org), the world's premier Linux certification
organization will provide certification testing to registered conference
delegates during the LinuxWorld Conference & Expo--Boston, April 4-6,
2006 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, Boston,
Massachusetts.  Conference delegates will receive their certification
testing as part of their conference fee (a $150 US value) while those
attending the trade show will be able to take the exams at a discounted
fee of $50 US.

LPI exams will be offered on all three days of the conference, April
4-6, 2006, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in room 156C of the Boston Convention &
Exhibition Center.  Both LPIC-1 exams will be offered so that candidates
will have the opportunity of earning their first LPI Professional
certification.

Exam candidates must pre-register on the LPI website at
https://www.lpi.org/en/register.html to receive a LPI identification
number and must bring valid photo identification and their LPI ID number
to the exam events.

LPI will also host an information booth in the exhibition area during
LinuxWorld Boston. Conference delegates and trade show attendees are
invited to meet with LPI representatives at Booth # 1334.  Attending on
behalf of LPI will be senior staff from Asia Pacific, Japan, and North
America.

During LinuxWorld, LPI will also host its semi-annual meeting of its
Strategic Advisory Council (8 a.m., April 5) and host the inaugural
meeting of the Technical Advisory Council (8 a.m., April 6) in room 156C
of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.  In addition, LPI
representatives will host a "Birds of a Feather" session on April 5th at
4:30 p.m. entitled: "LPI: What Makes a Linux Professional" (Room #151A,
Session Code: BOF13).
