Fedora Core 5 released
Fedora Core 5 "Bordeaux" was released on Monday. The announcement contains a specific set of
download sites; you can also get to a list of mirrors here.
The announcement was preceded by the news that the new release could temporarily break non-GPL modules. Look for a kernel update to fix that. Those who have upgraded to FC5 may want to upgrade to flash-plugin-7.0.63-1, which properly handles integration with firefox-1.5.x contained in FC5.
ATrpms has officially launched Fedora Core 5
support for i386 and x86_64. ATrpms is a third party general purpose
package repository.
