Perl Needs Better Tools (O'Reilly)

You mean it's still not? Progress is indeed slow and uncertain. I was hoping we could soon begin burying the aberration known as Python. That can't happen until the ashes of the abomination known as Perl are scattered to the four corners.

Be careful what you damn: You might not be left with anything better, progress being slow and uncertain and all.
