Novell's first-quarter results
To keep things in perspective, the same financial report includes $275
million of other revenue not from the SUSE business and a gain of $448
million from a legal settlement with Microsoft. It may be a long time
before the Linux business is carries the majority of revenue at Novell.
The 15 million is a sizable portion of the year to year quarterly revenue growth, which was 290 million compared to 267 million. It is also 25 percent growth over third quarter which was 12 million. The information given isn't enough to make any judgements of future impact. However, 25 percent growth over a three month period is not bad.Novell's first-quarter results
As we have been told for ages - it is not possible to earn money on free software. Somebody have to go of and tell Novell as wellThis is all sooo wrong...
