As someone strongly in the Open Source community, I must refute this.

It is OSI which has self-destructed with OSAID, including basically every process around it, and now is merely a laughingstock that we cannot respect, let alone take for real any more.

As such, Open Source is now without a recognised organisation, but we still have the OSD and the DFSG.
