Good, because I'm speaking on behalf of everyone *I* know who uses a desktop. On behalf of those people, top-level window positioning *is* niche. Whose anecdata is better, and why should we pick yours?

So far, I have seen no indication that "we" is anything more than a rhetorical device. Thus, I will continue to treat it accordingly.

You're right, sorry. I was happy to discuss and share technical details. This back-and-forth is something I shouldn't have tried to entertain.
