As an outsider, it appears that Alma is picking up steam. That is really great to see as I really like the way they are positioning themselves as a RHEL compatible distro but one that does more than just recompile the SRPMS.

I really hope that the are rewarded commercially. It has been a long time since I have been part of the Red Hat ecosystem but every time I see a story on Alma I find myself thinking of how I might put them into service somewhere.

They are certainly the most interesting of the RHEL-alikes at this point ( in my view at least ).

AlmaLinux is a great distro, what centos stream should have been but lacks the community push that AlmaLinux has. Very happy to see who the board members are.
