Oracle hasn't been much of a going concern on SCO for quite some time now. I am not sure if it ever was.<p>Now, the problem with your thesis is the HIGH COST of Oracle itself. It now even dwarfs the cost of the Sun hardware it might run on. So the notion that anyone is going to save themselves lots of money by running Oracle on Linux is rather laughable. This is especially true if they are running clustered Oracle (RAC).<p>If you can afford Oracle, the cost savings of Linux aren't very interesting.
