I'll be giving it a try and may be able to cover it later.<br> <p> One thing, though: perfecting a clustered filesystem is hard, slow work. Look at the timelines for Ceph, Gluster, OCFS, etc,; it takes 5 to 10 years to get one up to production quality. CoreOS has more experience with distributed systems than most organizations, but don't expect to deploy this tommorrow.<br> <p> On the other hand, CoreOS doesn't deserve the treatment they got on HackerNews. They had some pretty good reasons for this project.
