MyUpdates (myupdates.gchsonline.com) is offering update services now, as well. for versions 7.2 through 9.0. It's worth a look. Like Progeny, they decided to go the route of continued support.

I wonder about those three steps listed on Red Hat's migration page

Make your choice
Make the move to Red Hat Enterprise Linux

To me it seems like they imply everybody will come to the conclusion RHEL is the right choice for them.

I alsow wonder if there exist an errata page for Fedora like there does for Red Hat Linux.

It's not a rip off. $60 for a year of updates is cheap. That's the same price RedHat was charging for their up2date service anyway.
