I still wish they'd chosen a different name. Every time I see an article about this, it always takes me a minute to realize that it's not about Ada-the-language. That said, I'm a lot more interested in and supportive of this Ada. :)

certainly not a problem you can solve by throwing money about, but $80k isn't so much and it looks like they have some inexpensive worthwhile projects in mind. The best of luck to them.

It was interesting to hear Valerie Aurora talking about this initiative in her talk (which was also about debugging file systems) at LCA in Brisbane. Congratulations to her and Mary and all others involved for following through so well on this worthwhile effort. We need a more representative sample of humanity working on free software.
