We can hope they will then be backported to the maintained 2.6.3x.y releases. Meanwhile, the action has shifted to supporting Intel's Sandy Bridge graphics system.<br> <p> Experiences with the i915 driver make me nostalgic for the late '90s. Intel still has room for improvement in providing drivers coincident with the hardware release.
