Are you only targeting x86 and x86_64 for this effort? I have an old powerbook I'd by happy to run the tests on, but I couldn't find a PPC boot image.

I understand, and very sorry about the short notice :(. I was a bit behind in pulling everything together so I wasn't able to get the announcement out earlier. Sorry about that. Will try to do better for next time. Please do provide us with your results if you possibly can, though, even if they're a bit late they're still very valuable. Thanks!

You can edit the wiki and provide the results anytime and don't have to wait for any particular day as mentioned in the announcement itself. That would be very helpful. Editing the wiki requires a Fedora account but that is a click through process and hardly takes a couple of minutes.

...such announcements would come a bit earlier so that people can get prepared for the event. Actually I have a test lab full of hardware and nVidia graphics cards, but form inside the lab only limited web access. That means: Will I be able to upload profiles to smolt using the tools? Will they use the proxy or not? Access to IRC is prohibited inside the company, even the WebIRC page is blocked by a webfilter. :-(
So actually I downloaded the live ISO and I will try out at least one card that has caused problems in earlier releases of Fedora, but I'm afraid I won't make it to smolt or IRC this time. :-(
