We speak portuguese here, remember??</p><p>And it's really as strong in caffeine as black coffee, but (IMHO) the taste is much softer.</p><p>Besides that, the way it's done in the <em>cuia</em> makes it a warming beverage, good for the somewhat cold temperatures down in Rio Grande do Sul (as compared to the rest of Brasil :).</p><p>Greetings,<br>---H.</p> Mon, 10 Jun 2002 15:10:53 +0000 Software Livre! It's called "yerba mate", pronounced as "yehr-bah mah-teh".
