I expect that 'Rocky' has been going up in the tree for years and sometimes snacking on the odd bird egg or even youngling bird... that might be enough for when 'Rocky2' goes and eats the shepherd.. it isn't seen as an anomaly. <br> <p> Which I think might be where observability has fallen down in the past.. the programmer only thinks the squirrel is going up and eating nuts, but every now and then it has not.
