## Leap
Python packaging workshop by Antonio on Thursday weekly meeting
Leap 16.0
https://openqa.opensuse.org/group_overview/129 all arches enabled
further issues with boot on non-intel arches in cases where disk
doesn't have topmost boot priority.
TWO WIP branding pull requests for Leap and TW wallpaper set including
ultrawide resolution.
The challenge that I see is how to package it so we don't cause space
issues for livecds (I'm also bit concerned that we still care about
the size in time when probably smallest flash drive you can get will
be around 2GB.
I also don't know if we really have to store all resolutions, or
simply use "scale down feature of e.g. GNOME wallpaper xml etc".

SLE Micro 6.1 was synced to OBS so I can start working on Leap Micro 6.1
Need to update roadmap for Micro regarding 5.5 EOL (inputs from Marina)

## Richard (Aeon+botmaster)
fwupd doesn't work on Aeon due to some upstream assumptions, currently
being discussed https://github.com/fwupd/fwupd/issues/7783
## Max
Leap 16.0
* Extended pkglistgen to be able to update weakremovers.inc only, this
change would not touch any other product package, just release package
(helps with migration from 15.6)
* Working on FactoryCandidates project for Leap 16.0, and need to
adjust the updater of FactoryCandidates as well
* Give productcomposer's internal installcheck a try, but it's crashed
somehow, can not find useful message from buildlog, I reverted
installcheck option in main project, but it's reproducible in Staging

## Guillaume - Arm
Tumbleweed:
* Rolling
* shim (15.8) is now signed by Microsoft (since snapshot 20240923)
Leap 15.5:
* RPi3 boot problem related to a kernel update
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1225352
Leap 15.6:
* Problems on RPi4 with very long boot and keyboard unrecognized
with latest rapsberrypi-eeprom update (update taken from TW) -
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1230104
Leap 16.0:
* Agama very slow on RPi3 (reported by Matthias B.)
- lkocman: you can use external machine as a viewer just
connect to https://IP:80
* openQA needs some update/fixes for aarch64
- lkocman: workaround would be to set disk to topmost boot prio,
or fix the boot local option in grub for aarch64

## Maintenance (Marcus, Robert)
No news
Chromium updates discussion
## Wolfgang (Package Hub), Scott Bahling, Nathan Cutler
No news at the moment.
PM provided inputs for the Friday Package HUB meeting for SLES 16.
Seems that they don't have any objections towards our initial proposal
(simple as possible).
## Adrian - OBS
Nothing to report
Restructuring of git so we can manage multiple packagesets from
different directories. This requires
an additional configuration file where subdirectories and additional
rules can be configured.
Please reach out in case you have needs in this regard.
## Bernhard - Slowroll
Worked with another contributor on installcheck integration.
Updated kernel + kernel-longterm
Next Tumbleweed snapshot taken next week
lkocman: get-o-o - I'll be adding Leap 16.0 there this or next week.
Do we want to add Slowroll there as well?
lkocman will send a link to branch which already has Slowroll entries.
## Bernhard - reproducible builds
making good progress on R-B-OS ring1 and with Fridrich Strba on java
## Adam - Git Workflow
- ported mold:core to a git project (https://src.opensuse.org/testing/_ObsPrj)
Git history from OBS history can change due to mutability of user data
in OBS @ home:adamm:mold:core:git
- WIP on workflow-pr to move to RabbitMQ. workflow-direct is finished.
