Fun with SCO headlines

Here's a small set of SCO articles, mostly reporting from SCOForum. There's little there which isn't better expressed in Groklaw's summary, but the headlines tell a lot about how the company is perceived at this point.

...and so on. SCO used to get a free ride in the media, but those days would appear to be done.

Fun with SCO headlines

From the SiliconValley.com article:

McBride seems convinced that SCO has successfully defended its
intellectual property in court. "We've obviously overachieved on that
objective,"

The TechWorld article mentions the same quote.

What I want to know is where's the quote about the stomachs of the IBM
execs roasting in hell? Sounds like the Iraqi Information Minister to me!

Remarkable how different the take of the Register story is, tho..

As the headline said, he does seem to be winning his battle with reality. However, I've just been wondering-- how exactly does he see SCO as "overachieving"? Did he in some back corner of his mind expect (as many of us wished) that they would be laughed out of court as soon as they entered their suits? In that case, they have overachieved by making it this far. But in any normal use of the term, I think he is in fact delusional.
