Gnuplot 6 comes with pie

Not sure that the Vega grammar is as compelling as the GGplot2 grammar for describing a graph. But to think of graphs as described by a grammar -- rather than as an execution path to be tuned -- is to show the single most major advance which has happened since the creation of Gnuplot. Which is no criticism of Gnuplot of course.
