This case demonstrates a much greater risk to signing proprietary license agreements than accepting those which come with Free Software by distributing the latter. If this kind of case were not likely to be a one off, end users should be advised to always read click through or other proprietary agreements carefully and obtain legal advice before accepting the terms and conditions. If not, you may be hauled expensively through the courts years later based on one of the more obscure and minor obligations which you would have otherwise imagined to be moot and pointless.
