Evolution and GPG

You forgot to mention that Evolution will lock up for minutes at a time, without even bothering to render the plain text of a signed email, while GPG downloads keys from keyservers, checks its trustdb, etc.

Not an exercise in good UI design, that one -- almost as good as the way it downloads a multi-megabyte application/octet-stream attachment before showing you the text part of the message too. Another of the cases where you often end up starting pine to read your email while waiting for Evo... :)
