One of the many differences here is that the telecom industry has *never* provided anything free of charge. They also have a long, public history of double or even triple-dipping and acting in very bad faith.
So, please enlighten us as to why you or I or anyone other than Red Hat's paying customers are entitled to, in perpetuity and at zero cost, the software and services that Red Hat provides. And then explain how that doesn't apply to the software you have written.
