So... checks calendar... 13 years later, storage is cheap enough to be free for binary purposes, nobody uses CDs, and x86_64, arms, and risc-Vs are the only 5 architectures that matter. Are we _ever_ get multi-architecture executables in Linux land or has everyone interested just moved on having punted this to others packaging and distribution areas?
