## Review of past Actions
Paul has nudged the UNIVERSAL::import thread. It could do with more
nudging still but ultimately it's Yves/Ovid's idea.
Rik has poked Neil B to remind about the "https out-of-the-box" issue.
Paul & Philippe should review Rik's new RFC process doc RFC.
Philippe to review prior art on the "optional chaining" thread and post
a follow-up.
Philippe still to follow up with GitHub about the remaining POD
encoding issues. There's a repository of test cases at
https://github.com/book/testing-github-pod
## Function Call Evaluation Order
While discussing the "optional chaining" feature, we got into a
side-distraction about the currently-stalled bug to do with entersub
evaluation order (https://github.com/Perl/perl5/issues/19997). There's
a PR pending to fix it (https://github.com/Perl/perl5/pull/20026) which
is currently stalled on discussions about performance and potential
CPAN-breakage. Overall thoughts are that it's probably worth getting a
good fix for this - it's all version-guarded anyway so any upstream
CPAN module breakage should be fairly well contained.
## GitHub 2-factor Auth
Not that there's a concrete plan at the moment, but it may be that
we'll look to require 2-factor authentication for the Perl github
repository.
There might also be thoughts on how to handle something better for
authentication for CPAN/PAUSE than the current method of HTTP basic
auth. If there's a change here it'll have to be carefully worked out
with the various pause-upload automation scripts to ensure those remain
working.
