## Attendees
Lubos, Doug, RBrown, Gerald, DocB

Preparation of Immutable Desktop Workshop starting on 2nd August

Big thanks to all early contributors who helped us to rework the tasks,
so others have smoother ride on 2nd August
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AGKijKpKiJCB616-b...

## Leap

15.4 retro Still have quite a lot of feedback to process. There was no
interest in past 3 public reviews, so I'll not announce any more public
rounds, but will simply share categorized outcome on usual places and
with respected teams. https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:15.4/Retrospective

SLES 15 SP5 Feature "early" evaluation deadline is this friday. I
already feel that SLE RM doesn't have capacity to process new features.
All of Leap 15.5 features from code-o-o were processed

The self-install with gnome-initial-seutp feature
https://code.opensuse.org/leap/features/issue/89

Leap Micro 5.3 is building. Still need to look into final blockers for
openQA process

The SUMA/repository bug was turned into
https://code.opensuse.org/leap/features/issue/91

Slowly processing
https://progress.opensuse.org/projects/opensuse-leap-15-5...

Discussion with ALP Product management about proposed lifecycle for
Community ALP next week on Tuesday (before ALP CWG meeting)

## openSUSE Tumbleweed

Tumbleweed is rolling again afer the combination of vacations, OBS
overheating (still ongoing, so don't be surprised if snapshots are less
often) and Live CD's growing too big over and over again

Perl 5.365 made it in

Fun stuff still in stagings:
    - rust (to make 1.62 the default)
    - kernel 5.18.12
    - python-rpm-packaging
    - vim 9.0.0073

Annoying stuff still in stagings:
    - a whole pile of python stuff is stuck in Staging:L

Snapshot diff tooling at
https://openqa.opensuse.org/snapshot-changes/opensuse/Tum... seems
to be missbehaving and underreporting the changes
Axel: Please announce this misbehavior to factory@

GPG Key to sign packages/repos is planned to be updated to be a
4096/RSA key (implementation schedule pending)
 Tracker bug : https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1199184

## Richard (MicroOS)

Tumbleweed BCI images are now building properly and in Factory, looking
to make them the default base for other official images

MicroOS Desktop GNOME is in RC
MicroOS Desktop KDE is in Alpha but seeing it's first contributions
from new contributors in a very long time

Lots of MicroOS Desktop feedback thanks to the attention ALP has given
it, but actionable feedback and/or contributions from that attention is
yet to appear

lkocman: Do we have some list for junior tasks wiki page?
We need to construct the actionable tasks from the current attention.

Doug about the changelog is this affecting openQA? (Doug feel free to
restate it). Doug consumes the changelog.

## Max
Not available - has an appointment

* The relevant attributes for the release tooling and openQA has
already sets
* Leap 15.5's disk space on OBS need to be increased, wait for
autobuild team
* Still waiting for SUSE:SLE-15-SP5:GA project to be synced to OBS,
after that, we need pool-leap-15.5 to be created on each SLE15 SPxa

## Guillaume - Arm

Not available

Tumbleweed:
    * Rolling
    * ghc-bootstrap issue currently fixed with a package overlay in
:ARM will be fixed properly with
https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/986171 but adi:37 is currently
red - https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1199897

Leap 15.4:
    * armv7: No update channel. How to deliver updates to user?
Lubos to figure out plan with maintenance-setup, so far we're in
continuous rebuild mode.
guillaume_g: openqa is disabled, so packages from OBS are not pushed to
openqa.
Lubos will sent email to Jan Stehlik, Guillaume, Dirk will be in cc.

ALP:
    * aarch64 on par with x86_64

Manual trigger for rebuild is always considered a workaround. If you
spot some missing rebuild that was not catched by infra please speak up
to autobuild.
Dirk: project is setup for full rebuild, there should be very little
need for manual rebuilds.

## Sarah - s390

 - SR created: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/983452

Getting several reports of missing packages from PH 15 SP4. Noticed
that there are about 1300 packages removed from Backports 15 SP4 vs
SP3. Need to investigate why we are missing so many.
Max: Wolfgang is working on it. There will be a call tomorrow.

Let's revisit this after hackweek, lubos will make a meeting.

## Maintenance team (Marina or Marcus, Maurizio (m4u))

(https://github.com/openSUSE/openSUSE-release-process/issu...) work
in progress following the initial list of overlapping packages
