Or the FOSS community can put its weight where it is most useful. There's no value to forcing cloud computing to move from BIOS to UEFI, and as long as Linux supports it, these cloud providers can continue using it. Not permitting AWS to run away with everything is of value for the FOSS community; it reduces the leverage Amazon has over the community, and more generally the FOSS community is opposed to monopolies.
