It's abandonware, I'd have to do some digging to find out exactly the proper legal situation. Pr1me went bust in the early 90s, so their market disappeared. At some point shortly afterwards, they announced that they were abandoning it, and the source was available to buy for anyone who wanted it.

I then got given a copy some years later. I guess if someone emailed the Sheffield University Computer Department they would probably give us a disclaimer.
