+COVID19 update

+
+How is everyone? Is there anything we can/should be doing for the community?
+
+COVID implications are very uneven, with some people largely unaffected and others having a hard
time.
+
+Generally harder for people new to the community.
+
+Lots of private questions and on demand VC.
+
+Outreachy has been very active.
+
+Are there subsystems without backup maintainers? How do we figure out if people have disappeared?
+
+Many single maintainer subsystems. Linus has been on the lookout for changes in activity, but we
could graph this to show it more clearly if needed.
+
+Kees volunteered to work with Linus on a covid related blurb in the rc1 announcement.
+
+VC for TAB meetings and community use

+Discussion of zoom vs bluejeans, and the security issues being exposed in zoom.

+jitsi as an opensource alternative, we tried it at the end of the call with mixed results.
