Adam Conrad, on behalf of the Ubuntu Release Team, confirms Ubuntu 14.04 LTS "basic" support has
ended. Shortly the images will be archived with the primary archive moving to old-releases. We are
reminded that for those who must remain on the 14.04 release Canonical offers Extended Security
Support through Ubuntu Advantage. Adam provides links for further details and to general support.
