"Ming" like in 明天?Otherwise it's not obvious at least to me.

Sounds appropriate, but there's already something else called "Ming": http://www.libming.org/ .

Too bad. I had already avoided suggesting FlashDB for a similar reason. Once again the continued existence of Flash is making life difficult.

Xming is running on my Windows desktop right now. I use it all the time.
