That was my first reaction as well. Take the last GPL-versioned commit and fork from there. If so, first order of business should be to change that awful name.

"Ming" like in 明天?Otherwise it's not obvious at least to me.

Sounds appropriate, but there's already something else called "Ming": http://www.libming.org/ .

Too bad. I had already avoided suggesting FlashDB for a similar reason. Once again the continued existence of Flash is making life difficult.

Xming is running on my Windows desktop right now. I use it all the time.
