Tracing Summit 2018 - CFP extended

The call for proposals is open for the RT Microconference at Linux Plumbers Conference, which runs November 13-15 in Vancouver, Canada.Postgres Down Under 2018 Call for papers
PGDay Down Under 2018 will be held December 7 in Melbourne, Australia. The call for papers deadline is September 30. Relevant talk topics include: Case studies; New PostgreSQL features; Advanced and/or novel use of PostgreSQL features; Benchmarking & hardware; Scaling / replication; Backup and Disaster Recovery; and Migration projects.LibrePlanet 2019
LibrePlanet 2019 has been announced. The conference will be held in the Boston, MA area from March 23-24. "LibrePlanet 2019's talks and hands-on workshops can be for developers, young people, newcomers to free software, activists looking for technology that aligns with their ideals, policymakers, hackers, artists, and tinkerers -- and we really want you to propose a talk! Talks and workshops should examine or utilize free software, copyleft, and related issues, but otherwise, the sky's the limit." The talk submission deadline is October 31.

There will be a bug squashing party in Karlsruhe, Germany on October 26-28.Performance and Scalability Systems Microconference Accepted into LPC
There will be a Performance and Scalability Systems Microconference at the 2018 Linux Plumbers Conference, which will be held November 13-15 in Vancouver, Canada. "Proposed topics for this microconference include optimizations for mmap_sem range locking; clearly defining what mmap_sem protects; scalability of page allocation, zone->lock, and lru_lock; swap scalability; variable hotpatching (self-modifying code!); multithreading kernel work; improved workqueue interaction with CPU hotplug events; proper (and optimized) cgroup accounting for workqueue threads; and automatically scaling the threshold values for per-CPU counters."
Power Management and Energy-awareness Microconference Accepted into 2018 LPC
The Power Management and Energy-awareness microconference will be held at Linux Plumbers Conference which runs November 13-15 in Vancouver, Canada. "Specific topics include energy-aware scheduling, per-task and per-cgroup performance hints, timer granularity issues in the runtime PM framework, generic power domains (genpd) framework enhancements, firmware-based and direct control of low-level power management features of computing platforms, a proposed on-chip interconnect API, and improving selection of CPU idle states."
